These pics taken in Cocoa Village. A tornado went through there early Monday morning before the worst of the storm came by.
The large black bar near the top going left to right is the wiper blade of the truck and not part of the damaged traffic lights.
The next pics were taken on Clearlake Road where it flooded.
This was a storm drain doing its job albeit slowly.
The storm drain which created the whirlpool in the earlier pic was in front of this pawn shop, "Sally's Bargain Barn". The pawn shop's floor is at the same level as the flooded parking lot and presumably this business is also flooded.
There was no traffic behind me so I stopped to take these shots including this one of traffic passing by. The large truck just nailed the throttle as it went by creating a wake.
The wake from the large truck washed up inside the walk-in step of the van, easily two to three inches deep. Before the wake wahed up, the rim of the door opening was lapping right at water level.
The truck I used to shoot from.
The water level lapping near the top of the hubcap. In the lower left corner barely visible is a off-color stripe of paint; this is the stripe marking the lane of traffic, probably about 10 to 12 inches deep.
The water was lapping at the tailpipe.
